Contact Lens Instructions
By Ken Wilssens

All too often contact users fail to listen carefully to the contact lens instructions that are provided to them upon receiving their contacts. This means that when they get home and attempt to insert and remove their contact lenses they will find that they are having a difficult time. If this happens then there are options. Now you can find out on your own how to insert and remove your contact lenses. By looking on the Internet you can find instructions on how to insert, remove and care for you contact lenses. The type of contacts that you are using will affect the instructions in which you receive.

If you are using soft contact lenses then your contact lens instruction will be as follows:

1. Wash your hands before handling any lenses. It is not a good idea to use fragranced soaps before handling contact lenses. This could damage the lenses.

2. You should always use two or three drops of your saline contact lens cleaners. You should use this solution this in each eye for about ten minutes.

3. It is always a good idea to work over a table just in case you drop the contact lens. This will help you to pick the lens up easier.

4. Always take out the right lens first, then the left. This is the general rule of thumb and it is recommended that you follow it strictly.

5. After removing the lens you should place the lens directly into the lens case, which has been filled with solution. Leave the contact lenses in the solution long enough for the solution to soak into the lens to ensure that they are completely clean.
